I've Returned From the Great Beyond
Kurt and I got back in town on Tuesday night. We had a great time and it was very relaxing. We enjoyed our adventure while throwing our money away at the penny slots and bingo. While in Vegas, we received coupons to see the Tournament of Kings(at Excalibur) at no charge. It's this jousting and sword fighting play and it was OK, but not worth the $55.00 dollars per person they charge. When we drove into Vegas we noticed Carrot Top was performing and we were able to get tickets at $40.00 per person, the show was 10X better than the Tournament of Kings and we didn't have to sit next to a gay couple. I had Kurt sit next to them because there was a women next to the other empty seat. They were nice guys and joked with them a little bit and I didn't realize they were gay until we were walking out of the show. Kurt said he figured it out pretty quick, He had his Gadar(gay radar) on. Whatever that means. Anyhow, Carrot Top was hillarious and we (especially Kurt) laughed the entire time. I bought a Carrot Top t-shirt and then Kurt and I had a discussion that I would like your input on. Here are the arguments and a picture of the graphic on the t-shirt.
Becky's Argument- I like the t-shirt, mostly because I am a carrot top, myself. I have b
een called this name since at least 2nd grade, way before I had ever heard of the comedian Carrot Top. Shoot, he was probably still in middle school. I thought it was a pretty cool t-shirt for a red head to wear.
Kurt's Argument-You know you can't wear that t-shirt to certain places and events, because everybody knows he does vulgar jokes.
So here is my question, if you see a red head wearing a Carrot Top t-shirt do you think of the comedian or the red head? Please let me know what you think!

Sorry, Becky....I'm going to have to go with Kurt on this one. I would think of the comedian. I usually only think of kids as carrot top red heads. I LOVE Carrot Top and yes, he's not exactly a guy you'd want your kids to see!
Glad you had fun!
honestly it took me a little while to make the association with "the" carrot top. I think I would associate it with your hair personally. I guess it depends on how many people are into his comedy.
I think that since the shirt doesn't have any of the crude jokes printed on it, it is okay for you to wear it. Plus I think it IS kind of funny that you would wear it, being a read head yourself. And since it doesn't have a picture of Carrot Top on it, I wouldn't think of him right off the cuff. To me, it looks like a health food t-shirt kind of.
