I'm Ready

Today is Halloween and I'm excited because I am not rushing around at the last minute to get ready. I did that yesterday. We had an event at church last night so I had the kids costumes ready for that. Konrad is Jack Sparrow, from Pirates of the Carribean, and he looks strikingly handsome and like a small version of my brother. Seeing Konrad look so like Brad made me miss my him a bit more today. Kirsten is a giraffe, as this is her favorite thing lately, and she will be a giraffe all day today and possibly for the rest of the week. If anyone knows how giraffes take baths I would sure appreciate that information. I will try to include pictures of kids all dressed up tomorrow. Since this is a new frontier for me, I am experiencing a definite learning curve. So please be patient. Thanks!

Getting Started

So here I am starting this new thing. I'm unsure of why I am doing this or what I expect to get out of it. I guess we'll just see what happens. I've never really done any journaling before and I must admit that this whole idea makes me a little nervous. So as I tell my children, you get what you get and you don't throw a fit. Wish me luck.
