The Konman has done it again! I don't know about you but all I can do is laugh. Where does he get this stuff from?
When I was helping at his school on Monday the Librarian told me that he sang his song(from talent day) for her. When I asked him to sing the song he sang to her, he told me there were actully two songs. The first one was Higher and the second one was Face Down. He knew the lyrics to Higher, but was a bit confused on the lyrics to Face Down. They are supposed to go, "Face down is the way I hope you find me, not dead, but in living prayer to you father" --
He sang it like this, "Face down is the way I want my body, not all together but da da da da"
Just a slightly more gruesome version. I'm sure the librarian was wondering how we spend our free time.
This is the same child who instead of singing "Nothing but the blood of Jesus". Was singing "Nothing but the butt of Jesus". Just one word can make such a difference! There is another song that goes "Real Jesus consume me, consume me" and he was singing "Real Jesus atchoo me, achoo me". It's a good thing that God knows what is truly in our hearts and where we are coming from.
The best one was when he was helping put up a tent and he hit his thumb with a hammer on the meat nail(tent stake). That one still cracks us up today and has forever changed our family's vocabulary. That is in part because we had trouble keeping a straight face and never corrected him, until 2 years later, when my sister took pity on him and explained to him what it was really called.
These just scratch the surface, and unfortunatly I can't remember all of them. So if there is another one that you think is funny, please, remind me by posting it in comments.

I'll never forget him singing "Stuck in a Moment". His version went "You got stuck in the MUD and you can't get out of it". He's such a character!
Kids....can't live with 'em and you can't (fill in the blank)! Hee hee! How cute! "Konman" is becoming quite a character. Gee, could it be the influence of his Dad and Uncle?!??! :D
I seem to have heard something about a ehem, well I'll just say it was his description of male versus female body parts. Not sure if you want to really post that on here or not, but it was pretty dang funny.
Those are so funny! Kids definitely say the darndest things :) I know there have been quite a few my kids have said...just cant think of them right now..I will have to start a list and put them on my blog
